Aurora, IL - Countryside Care Centre has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety. Kim Kohl's, Administrator of Countryside, responded to the recognition by saying "All of us at Countryside are very pleased and honored with this accreditation. We are dedicated to giving the highest quality care to our patients and residents and are privileged to receive JCAHO's seal of approval." For almost 40 years, Countryside Care Centre has provided their patients and residents alike, with compassionate, personalized care as well as highly skilled and cutting edge clinical services.
Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation's health care through voluntary accreditation. Countryside Care Centre received Joint Commission accreditation after an on-site review. "Accreditation standards exceed federal and state requirements," says Gina Zimmermann, M.S., senior executive director, The Joint Commission. "Furthermore, because this is a voluntary program, accreditation represents Countryside Care Centre's decision to be recognized for its efforts to provide safe, quality care."
