[Aurora, IL  1/15/2010]  Countryside Care Centre will be sponsoring a Free Seminar:  “Understanding Memory Loss” and Free Memory Screening at Aurora Public Library – Eola Road Location, 555 S. Eola Rd #2, Aurora, IL  60504-8913 (630-264-3420).  The seminar will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.   

Medical professionals will explain the difference between normal, age-related memory lapses and symptoms that may signal the onset of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia disorders.  Among the related topics to be covered are:
•    Tips for maintaining memory
•    10 warning signs of Alzheimers
•    The importance of early diagnosis
•    Current treatment options and research trends

Following the seminar, participants will be invited to take a free Memory Screening test.  The test is fast, non-invasive and conducted in complete privacy.  Valuable educational materials and refreshments will also be available.
