Shonda Burns started her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Asssistant and set her sights on higher aspirations. She graduated from Northwestern Mississippi School of Nursing after having fallen in love with long-term care. She became certified as a Rehabilitation Nurse and Alzheimer’s specialist. Her work as Co-Pastor of an Interdenominational Church allows her to provide spiritual support and guidance to those residents in need when requested.

As the Restorative Director, it gives her great pleasure to see people rehabilitate enough to be able to return home. “The excitement keeps me going.”

Shonda enjoys her free time with her husband and daughter.
